  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (adaptive)
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Administration
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Desktop Administration

  • Unix Administration (Solaris 10)
  • Written English (UK)

In addition, PreVisor develops and refines new assessments in collaboration with client partners. The following are tests in the Beta stages of development:

Multitasking Test

The ability to multitask is increasingly important to a wide variety of jobs. The Multitasking Test is a timed, split screen test designed to assess multitasking ability. The test uses simulation technology to create the experience of performing multiple work-related tasks simultaneously. Specifically, the test has two tasks that occur simultaneously; instructions indicate that candidates should respond to questions in both tasks. The tasks are Problem Solving and Communications.

Computer Adaptive General Cognitive Ability Test (gCAT)

gCAT is a computer adaptive cognitive ability test that measures four separate components of cognitive ability. Multiple-choice items are drawn from a bank of content with a broad range in difficulty such that a candidate can be accurately assessed at any level of normal cognitive ability.

PreVisor Computer Adaptive Personality Scales

The PreVisor Computer Adaptive Personality Scales (PCAPS) is designed as a general assessment of normal adult personality intended for use in selection and development of employees across job levels and types. The adaptive nature of the PCAPS will allow for precise measurement with fewer items than traditional, comprehensive personality instruments. Given the adaptive nature of the scales, the assessment will terminate when enough information about a test taker has been gathered.

Pursuit Interest Inventory

The Pursuit Interest Inventory assists with career development, vocational planning, and employee placement, and is designed to predict job fit and satisfaction. The primary goal of the assessment is to assist organizations in understanding the type of work for which employees would be well-suited. In addition, scores from Pursuit Interest Inventory can map to job categories from the world of work map identified in the national Occupational Network (O*Net) to assist in recruitment and placement of employees.

Pursuit Work Values Inventory

The Pursuit Work Values Inventory (WVI) is a career development tool that assists the user in selecting job types and characteristics of organizations that best suit motives, needs, and preferences. The goal of the WVI is to maximize job satisfaction and organizational commitment by optimizing the fit between employees and jobs.
